This is our core business that carries out asset management with stocks, forex, corporate bonds and other financial products. Our investing activities emphasize maximizing returns and decision-making based on economic rationality. We endeavor to increase value and minimize risk by intentionally spreading our investments over a broad range of areas instead of specializing in just a few.
We acquire first-class condominiums and single-family houses through our parent company, KAWAI Holdings, Co., Ltd., to operate as rental properties. We are working to optimize our portfolio of property holdings while also securing revenue through their sale.

While we provide support to startups based on their novelty, growth potential and positive social impact, of particular note was the attention our solar generation business, with its own solar farms in Hita, Oita Prefecture, drew as an industry-leading initiative. In the future, we plan to expand into AI, space development and other promising areas.
In January 2019, JOUJU began operating 2 wind turbines in Ikata, Ehime Prefecture. Each has a tower 20 m tall and three 7.5 m long rotor blades at the top. While the turbines operate 24 hours a day, their output increases from fall to spring, with maximum output being reached during the winter season due to strong winds from the Seto Inland Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
JOUJU uses M&A to acquire companies with hidden growth potential to achieve its goal of building a company group with multifaceted characteristics and strengths.
Overview: Our Hita 1 and 2 solar farms boast a total area of 92,400 m2 and a capacity of 2 MW. This equates to an estimated output of 2 million kWh/year. The average Japanese home uses 3,500 kWh/year, meaning Hita 1 and 2 can produce enough energy for around 570 homes.
Overview: JOUJU's Nishiuwa 1 & Nishiuwa 2 are among 60 wind turbines of various sizes spread out across the Sadamisaki Peninsula, which together generate 177 million kWh/year. This is equivalent to the average electricity consumed annually by 41,800 households, and it would be enough to power the homes of Ikata's residents for eight years.
