JOUJU is actively planting seeds for the future by passing on the experience and knowhow it has cultivated over a long time in the Japanese industry to as many youth as possible around the world.

Social Contribution

Supporting Student Entrepreneurs

We provide support to ambitious student entrepreneurs studying at the University of Tokyo, Hitotsubashi University and other institutions in Japan; Peking University, Tongji University and Shanghai Normal University in China; and Foreign Trade University and Hanoi University of Business and Technology in Vietnam. This assistance includes not just funding but providing management knowhow as well.

Supporting Women Entrepreneurs

In 1994, we held Japan's first women entrepreneurs contest. In 2017, we hosted the Global Summit of Women, organized by NGO GlobeWomen Research and Education Institute, in Tokyo, which gathered 1,400 women entrepreneurs from across the world. This is just one example of the many ways we stand behind the activities of enterprising women, whose efforts tend to be brushed over by society.

Other Startup Support Activities

Besides students and women, we also spare no expense in backing young entrepreneurs and those with novel ideas. We support promising business plans in numerous ways, including funding, networks and technologies. By fostering individuals with a willingness to take on new challenges, we are working to invigorate society as a whole.
